… As Bishop Assures On Spiritual Support

The Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area (LGA), Amasenibo Abinye Blessing Pepple, has said his administration will be anchored on Godly principles.
He disclosed this on Friday when the Bishop of the Diocese of Niger Delta, Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev. Emmanuel Okwuchi Oko-Jaja, paid him a courtesy visit at the Government Lodge in Bonny.

Pepple, who disclosed that this is part of his people-oriented leadership, pledged continued collaboration with the Church, particularly St. Stephen’s Cathedral.
In fulfillment of his promise, the LG boss announced the appointment of Venerable Peter Blu-Attoni as Chaplain of Bonny LGA, emphasizing that his government remains dedicated to working hand-in-hand with the Church to promote peace, unity, and sustainable development across the LGA.
In his speech, Bishop Oko-Jaja congratulated the Chairman on his recent inauguration, expressing gratitude to God for the emergence of two sons of Anglican faith in leadership.
He also commended the Chairman’s achievements so far, noting signs of progress across the LGA under his administration.
The Bishop assured the Chairman of the Church’s continued prayers and spiritual support, declaring blessings upon the office and the entire Bonny Kingdom.
He emphasized the role of faith and divine guidance in promoting peace and development within the community.
With the Chairman to receive the Bishop’s entourage during the visit were: the Vice Chairman, Hon. Ibinyefagha Renner Alabere; Secretary to the Local Government, Warisenibo Tamunotonye Adolphus Jumbo; other senior government officials, and members of the Bishop’s entourage.
