Invitation to Attend the Unity Cup 2025 Football Tournament 

Dear [Scouts/Clubsides],

We are excited to invite you to the Unity Cup 2025, a nationwide Under-20 male and female grassroots football competition featuring teams from all 774 Local Government Areas across Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Unity Cup 2025 Overview

Organized By:

The Onengiye Elekima Foundation

Purpose: Foster youth empowerment, national unity, and peace through sports

Targeting the neglected, forgotten and the abandoned Audiences across the interior villages :

U-20 male and female teams from all the 744 local government areas in the 36 states and the FCT

Dates: March 2025 December 2025

Competition Format: Knockout stages from LGA level to state levels th to Zonal level, and national finals.

Prize Pool: ₦50 million

Grand Prize: ₦25 million for the champion, plus individual awards for MVP, Best Goalkeeper, Highest Goal Scorer, and more

Key Dates and Structure

LGA Tournaments: March – August 2025

State & Zonal Qualifiers: August – November 2025

National Finals: December 2025

We believe that Unity Cup 2025 will present a great opportunity to identify and nurture grassroots talent across Nigeria. The competition will feature the best young players from every corner of the country, offering scouts the chance to discover promising talents for professional development.
